Training Dog Collar

Several types of collars are used for training dogs, although sometimes collars are not used at all (such as for agility training, collars may be caught by equipment and strangle the dog). Each training collar has its own set of advantages and disadvantages (briefly outlined below), which trainers may consider before using the selected collar. Training collars are usually only used for training and will not stay on the dog's neck all the time, because if placed on the dog, some collars may be harmful or dangerous if not supervised.
