Anti predatory collars can be used to reduce bird mortality in domesticated cats. These collars may include eye-catching fabrics, colors, and/or bells. A study reported by The Atlantic in 2013 showed that cats wearing anti predatory collars killed 19 times fewer birds than cats without anti predatory collars.
